Mmm! Coconut Yoghurt!

Rachel Walker is just that much gladder to be alive since she discovered a coconut yoghurt alternative.

DF2TODAY IS A DAMN good day.

df3Sure, it could be that the sunshine in the Bay has finally made an appearance to welcome me back home to Tauranga safely, or it could be this miraculous tub.

Co Yo is a coconut milk yoghurt alternative made in one of my favourite places – Sunshine Coast, Australia. And it’s now here in NZ. It’s time to grab your car keys and cash, round up the kids (actually, this is probably best if it’s kept our little secret) and get ready to drive to your nearest stockist, because I swear that this will make your mouth water in anticipation (or make you act like a six-year-old on a massive sugar high).

DF5While you’re at it, you might also want to get your party pants on, because Co Yo is vegan, dairy free, gluten free, soy free, lactose free and has no added sugar.

I paid $14.90 for a 400gm tub and prices will vary nationwide, but I thought it was well worth the splurge for some fine creamy goodness. Co Yo tubs are available in Natural or with Mango, Pineapple, Passionfruit or Mixed Berries. I’m currently eating mine with Little Bird’s Macadamia & Berries Grawnola, and it’s good enough to be illegal.

The owner at my local store said her shipment had arrived last Friday, and they’re selling out extremely fast. One customer has even purchased and eaten four tubs in four days. I sense a challenge coming on here… RACHEL WALKER
