HECTORS RESTAURANT AT the Heritage Auckland is holding a dinner to celebrate Earth Hour on Saturday, 23 March.
This dining by candlelight will feature a three-course vegan menu with a glass of organic Villa Maria wine.
The lights go out at 8.30pm for the one-hour duration of the meal by candlelight.
The cost per person is $45, and $5 of each meal will be donated to the World Wide Fund For Nature.
The Earth Hour menu:
Seasonal vegetables with olive oil, kumara chips with salsa.
Mains – Grilled soft bean curd with pearl barley risotto, grilled cauliflower and pangrattato.
Dessert – Beetroot watermelon, Hakanoa ginger syrup and apricot sorbet.
